Who We Are Summative Assessment/Performance Task

WHO WE ARE

Central idea: Communities are formed by the choices people make.

Task:  Your group has been tapped to explain or present to a group of people interested in joining the school:

  • Elements of the QA Sidra community (Code of Care, Learner profile, Inquiry Cycle, etc)
  • The choices that we make in school (the students, staff, teachers and parents)
  • Our rights and responsibilities as human beings.

WHAT TO DO:
In the group, discuss and share ideas on how you are going to present it.
  • Be CREATIVE.  You can use slides, Tedtalk style, iMovie, use green screen, a diorama box, skit, make a mobile, make a brochure or pamphlet, make a song or rap.  The possibilities are endless.
  • Make sure that you have included data and non- fiction text or informational text in your presentation.
